Amazing for being 5000 years old, it's in pretty good shape. I wonder if the limestone kept it preserved so well? The auction triggered a bidding war between buyers - hard to believe that there's enough buyers who can pay that price tag to start a bidding war! Great clip! This is the first I'd ever heard about this one.

It is sickening to think of all the ancient artifacts and treasures that have been destroyed by this war.
Even with all the wars of all the centuries passed, it took America to decimate relics of such an ancient culture.
