Here we go again...

Dear everybody: A turban (dastaar) is not a hat. A kirpan is not a knife. And if you wouldn't ask a Jew to remove his yarmulke, and you wouldn't ask a Christian to remove a cross or crucifix necklace, don't ask a Sikh to remove their turban or kirpan.

If your going to live in the United States than you have to follow our rules!!!!!! If I went to your Country would allow me to do whatever I wanted.....just because I said it was my religion???? I don't think so. They would hang me.

...and the expected chorus of "if you don't like the way we do it, get out!" shows up. A bit belated, but expected nonetheless.

Funny how "our way or the highway!" is considered a reasonable attitude about things these people don't personally find important (like wearing a turban), but not considered reasonable when it's something where they want to impose their beliefs on others.
