In these dreary times, a light shines.

Thats right there is a woman in our midst, panic, ridicule, make her seem unworthy: after all she is only a woman, what does she know about the big bad world out there.

You do love your red herrings don't you. This has nothing to do about her being a woman.

And you don't like British humor? Oh well.

I can well appreciate humour, especially british humour. It's just that british humour is usually of the self depricating type, I am not used to seeing this type of vicious attack from them.
