sahara says: To learn how any representative or senator voted on the key measures described herein, look him or her up in the vote charts. The scores are derived by dividing a congressman’s constitutional votes (pluses) by the total number he cast (pluses and minuses) and multiplying by 100. All or most of these folks are awful senators/representatives. Why are they being lauded? They are being lauded by a magazine that is published by the John Birch Society, which has a pretty narrow view of what's constitutional. Tom Tancredo's the brilliant one who advocated threatening to bomb Mecca and Medina. Wonder how many recruits Osama made that day? Wonder how many American soldiers got shot? That may be the most ignorant, ill-advised comment I have ever heard from a Member of Congress. As with any cause, I suppose, some who support it are wise and some are fools. |
