I should have checked I clipped this too. Still it wasn't long before they had everything they could find trained on it. It may be any number of years between supernovae on earth, but who knows what the chances will be as we are able to see deeper into the past. It's one of those things astronomers have been talking about for years, as though catching one would be a dream. Now they'll have to dream of something else. I wonder how many questions this answer will pose?
