ColoradoRight says: If I were an employer I certainly wouldn't be potentially on the hook for the insurance of people who no longer work for me. Yes, I am a small business owner, which could not afford to offer health insurance anyway, but if I had, I'd be dropping it now --me pay up to 65% for someone's insurance who no longer works for me--just goes to show how out of touch Congress is with real people and real money. To expect small businesses or any business for that matter to continue paying health care for ex employees is not a fair expectation of the employer. |
