Belgium makes some incredibly delicious beers.
I agree.

Being overtly prejudiced and in the absence of any good points of reference I cannot but agree with you.

I've had a few Belgium brews, and while excellent they still can't hold a candle to what Schlitz at the brewery was, back in the day. Nothing else, no matter where it comes from, even comes close. "I'm from Milwaukee, and I ought'a know."

Don't even talk about that stuff sold as Schlitz now.

With that said, I'd love to visit one or 20 of these mentioned establishments. Do they have beer tours? A beer tour is a record kept of all the brands an individual has sampled as (s)he tours the world's beer.

Text from the bottle label: Schlitz - The beer that made Milwaukee famous. Brewed with "Just the kiss of the hops". Then, Now, and Forever, A replica of the classic 1945 Schlitz can. Schlitz invites you to raise a glass in honor of the courage, sacrifice and determination of American veterans, their families and those on the homefront. Brewed and bottled by the Jos. Schlitz Brewing Company, Milwaukee, WI.

Beer center of the World

Germany is the world's second largest beer producer but the German people are, by far, the largest consumers of beer. In the opinion of many beer affectionados, the name Germany is synonymous with Beer. The Beershots German Beer Collection is second in number only to the United States, and this is chiefly due to availability.

We have photographed over twenty beers made in Germany and they are arranged in two pages.

The Belgians don't know whether they brewing beer or concocting liqueurs.

British and Irish Beers have a wide range of tastes without being overpoweringly strong.

A Belgian is nice in small doses though

lol, I only clipped this for personal reference.

But I'm happy to see you all like it. If any of you poppers should show up in Brussels, I'd be happy to introduce you to the more potable and digestible part of our culture.

... not for the weak-stomached ...

I would be honored to have your guidance in a beer quest.
If only I had the means.

I was having cherry beer this morning and couldn't help but remember this clip... My favorite bar is owned by a Belgian. Maybe that's why I'm partial to Belgian beers too. LOL! I also like German and Czech beer!

Too bad we only have Coors in the office these days. I think it tastes like Sprite. I'd trade in all of them for a Chimay Bleue, Duvel, or Bush.

I was only joking about the Brit and Irish beers- the Bieres Sans Frontiers stall at the Great British Beer Festival is always where I seem to have the most fun.

How did that happen? I'm sorry.

But I don't like cherry cider as much as cherry beer, skwirl. I actually don't know where the cherry beer I drank comes from.

It's Coors "season" in the office, mousie. I'm still wondering what beer they're serving in the next few months.
