n2sooners says: I think the fact that CNN claimed they care about what you ask and the fact that it just happened to be the same thing democrats activists care about says more than anything about the network. Fox News is the most trusted source for a reason. Though most of Fox's editorial staff leans conservative, they are, by far, more honest and fair. I commented recently that I thought CNN was moderationg itself because of the lunacy of MSNBC. I also respected Anderson Cooper. I recant! I did not watch the debates...neither of them. But I sure have heard and read a lot about them today. I don't care that democrats are asking republican candidates questions. What I dislike is the deception put forth that these are *ordinary* citizens with concerns that are shared by regular Americans. Some of the questions are asinine. Like "Would Jesus support the death penalty?" Just plain dumb. These debates or even public political forums aren't about the positions of the candidates, how they would handle the serious problems that we're facing, what are their qualifications, etc....it's about saying what they think certain people want to hear, about being quick-witted, about being... |
