We are not the only ones with propaganda...

To be male in an enemy country is to be guilty by association. Don't forget that many of the men we're killing are barely past puberty if even that. In the American way of thinking, men are responsible agents, women and children are not. Ours is also a feminist culture. Our media unflinchingly represents Al Qaeda as a"patriarchal" institution whose principle aim is the oppression of women. (This aids our perception of ourselves as liberators) It fails to acknowledge the fact that half the support for Al Qaeda and anti-American sentiment in Afghanistan and elsewhere rests with women.
