Also, Suzikoh and Socratoad, I wish I could invite you to these dinners I'm planning! If you're ever in Beijing, look me up! I'll buy you a cup of coffee!

Actually, Suzikoh, I wanted to include the Balkans in my dinners, or more Eastern European food (I come from a Moravian Gypsy family with roots all over the Slavic world.) Alas, in Beijing the only Slavic food we have is one Serbian sandwich shop with three windows. Its too bad because I view the Slavic world as an important bridge between "Greco" and "Roman."

And Socratoad, Canada is the wonderful country to which all these different people have now immigrated! So you're welcome as well! The new Silk Road leads to Toronto. Actually, I b...
