You may be pleased to know that in an early play set in a multiracial school, the UK writer Alan Bleasdale made this the centrepiece of the drama. From this, teachers everywhere in the UK cascaded the idea into their classrooms. It is lovely to be reminded sometimes that one person's idea can spread so widely and have such benevolent influence upon the world.

All I can say is, I fell for blue eyes.

Excellent clip, and what a brilliant idea it was! It shows both the absurdity of theories of racial superiority and the ease with which both the "superior" and "inferior" groups become saddled with affects that would appear to damage both ability and morality.
