just bought my 2nd tube of 'butt paste' and my baby hasn't even been around for 3 weeks yet!! def going to try this!!!

In case anyone is wondering, i got the term "butt paste" from the source site. I had to use it in the title thinking it would attract more clickers than "alternative to desitin"...

LOL, djkraz. Boudreaux's Butt Paste is a commercial brand, in case anyone is wondering. For other parents of little one's out there, I really Dr. Smith's. It comes in a little jar (vs. a tube).

This is really a public service announcement for those of us with little ones in diapers! My daughter only gets diaper rash when she's teething which is amazing because she has the most sensitive skin and so many allergies. I use the Aveeno "butt paste" though.

So many daily blessings in parenting!

Mix 1/2 cup Vaseline and half of the tube of Desitin. Add about 2 tablespoon cornstarch. Mix again. Add about 2 tablespoons of Maalox.
