I think I'd lean towards a hearty red wine. The broccoli rabe is on the bitter side, so you'd want something to balance and complement that.
Ordinarily I love a nice
amaro
like Fernet Branca, but drinking Fernet with this dish would be bitter + bitter = OMG BITTER.
