Now they just have to apply a Hate Crimes designation to political and judicial attacks against gays (like trying to vote to block them marrying)

Does anyone have a sum on how much was spent trying to oppose it? That's the dollar total that's significant to me — many millions of dollars spent to keep prejudice legal.
