I wonder how the homeless population has grown and what unseen repercussions from medical neglect will emerge and how diminished education opportunities will manifest in 5 to 10 years. A friend of mine is having his property seized for back taxes. Like me, the house has been in his family for generations. Those who owe the banks can get help to avoid foreclosure. Why is there no help for homeowners who cannot afford their taxes? Could it be that the government is helping Banks and not people? All I know is that here in Canada with the recession, the price of everything is going up by leaps and bounds because of the high cost of "carbon footprints`` but my income has gone down by a couple of hundred dollars a month. The current method of handling the economy is bullshit anyway. Supply and demand is a joke... something is selling more so of course the price should be raised. Makes A LOT of sense to crazy people I'm sure. But then when people aren't out there spending money the price still goes up. Add to the mix artificial inflation caused by creating fictional money within the banking system, and VOILA! market crash. yep. It was set up to fail, folks. It's like hitting the reset button on a video game console. And THEN, once the shit hits the fan the powerful will only take care of those with money, because clearly they are the only ones worth a damn. Yep. Welllll, there's some merit in that perspective jmatts. Consumerism accounts for a large part of the economy and the majority of the "wealthy" depend on the market. There's only a slim percentage of the populace that just don't have to give a fuck. It's not in 99% of everyone's interest to see a crash. Certainly not the current administration. Jobs depend on the flow of money and credit. Manufacturing and other industry will only meet the demand for good and services at an affordable rate. We've just overproduced and overconsumed for so long, we'd like to think it should be the norm. Throw in all the corruption, greed and stupidity (War) and here we are. So, here comes the "Correction" an... |
