This guys was in a mental institution for life without parole (ever, ever, ever). The crown prosecutor decided to go after him and prove to/convince a judge that the guy was not in fact criminally insane, and that he was just a very, very dangerous creep. The judge agreed and threw him in a maximum security facility where he will rot until he dies or the world ends. Now, from the very little detail I've been able to glean from this article and dig up from the archived news, this guy in fact really doesn't seem insane. Instead he seems to be a sociopath. True, that in itself is a psychological disorder, however, sociopaths do know the difference between right & wrong, they are intelligent enough to know it, they just don't care. They have a complete lack of regard for the rights, freedoms, etc of others. It should be noted that though they know the difference between right & wrong, their idea of right & wrong is what becomes debatable.. however, unless they were completely sheltered, this guy would know that raping little girls was wrong & evil. So ... True, that in itself is a psychological disorder, however, sociopathsThe classic definition of most politicians. Well said, Debby! But, yes, this guys sounds both psychopathic and sociopathic. I'd give him about a monthe to live in "general Population". Even criminals have standards,thank God. Sounds to me like the Crown Persecuter was just looking for another Gold Star. |
