It bugs me when I sit in the MD's waiting room and the drug reps come breezing through, straight in, making my wait longer.

She did what she thought was right. And I agree with her. This practice of luring doctors on prescribing the medicine from the companies which give the most perks should be challenged.

We recently lost our insurance and those free samples have been a godsend, so maybe not "get rid of it altogether" but some sort of consumer control board?
