I am no legal expert but things about this case have never seemed answered to any thinking persons satisfaction.
Get away from the revulsion and gut reactions for once and enquire of the evidence. It does not stack up and ought to be placed before a body independent enough to review it dispassionately.
I make no judgments or other observations except that already mentioned.
