That's NOT being hypocritical. It's simply stating that countries who CAN abide by the nuclear non-proliferation act can move forward. Since Syria and Iran obviously cannot, they will face the consequences.

No, it is saying that countries that are on the U.S. side can have it, because for example India is not even a signatory, yet they get American help with their reactors, and we know they developed nuclear weapons with that technology. And so far the NPT allows countries to develop nuclear technology including the enriching of uranium. So technically Iran its within its rights and treaty obligations.

Think how the free world really think as to the hypocrisy of this scenario. How could the USA be correct on this one item when it has lied on so obviously issues, a lot of the time to it's own people.
