Too late, they've already been deleted. Shucks. ERROR: invalid page requested ERROR: invalid page requested ERROR: invalid page requested That's a hint of what his devotees idealogies are! Is it not at all obvious that anyone can post anything on Obama's blog? How do you know it's not 15 year-old boys with too much time on their hands? Hell, how do we know it's not you? To honestly believe that Obama supporters are ideologically anti-Semitic is outrageous at best and slanderous at worst. 61% of Jewish Americans support Obama over McCain! Would American Jews support a candidate whose "devotees" were anti-Semitic? This is just more Republican attacks and smears. The Democrats get beaten up election after election because the Republicans play dirty. Real dirty. A... This clip is an example of bearing false witness. My aunt has a story about when she was a kid that she loves to tell every chance she gets. She was mad at a cousin of hers that was picking on her, so she wrote his name on the wall with a crayon. My grandmother paddled his butt and made him sit in the corner. I suspect that's what happened on Obama's site. You'd think Obama's people just discovered the internet. They are partly to blame for opening themselves up to this by allowing anyone to post comments. I agree. It does seem incredibly naive. They have moderators, but they're apparently not as quick to scrub a hateful comment as certain people are in catching it and posting it for a partisan crowd as some sort of "relevatory" statement. Dulios is right! These posts are the Republicans fault, and can't possibly be brought on by Obama or any of his statements. Even though he called Israel a "constant sore". Or even though he is friends with ant-Jewish professor Rashidi Khalidi. Or even though he was a member of an organization for the past 20 years that exalted and honored famous racist, Jew hating scumbag Louis Farrakhan, as well as printing letters from Hamas in it's church bulletins. Surely none of that would attract the anti-Semitic crowd. Hell, those damn Republicans probably even planted the 'New Black Panther Party' endorsement on Barack O's site. Dirty indeed. Smoke TNT, there are probably screen shots out there somewhere. I've seen stories on the vile nature of the community blogs and comments on almost a weekly basis. I've clipped a couple. These leftists are full of hate and we should be used to it by now. Dulios, is not rationalizing. It is pretty obvious she is in the mix. Leftists are full of hate? Say it ain't so! No doubt that Tinker is a hater. No doubt at all. But wanna hear the good news? The black constituents of Cohen's district chose him in the primary with 79% of the vote to Tinker's 19%. See, unlike the belief of the Right that identity politics is voting for someone who shares your skin color or sex organs, identity politics is about voting for someone who shares your values. That's why the white man beat the black woman in this race. That's why as a progressive, pro-choice woman, a pro-choice man will get my vote over an anti-choice woman; why a progressive white will get my vote over a reactionary black. Congratulations to the people of Tennessee for rejecting Tinker and her hateful speech! Merrie can't spell. See, unlike the belief of the Right that identity politics is voting for someone who shares your skin color or sex organsAhem... check the Democrat vs. Republican voting logs for Michael Steele, Alan Keyes, Lynn Swann, etc... Also, what party does Robert Byrd affiliate himself with? I find it absolutely borderline hysterical and delusional to suggest, with complete lack of self-reflection, that the right engages in identity politics. Identity politics is chapter #1 of the Gramsci handbook, socialism 101. To suggest it is the right who engage in it, who by the way are far more libertarian, is just laughable. The entire agenda of political organization is built upon stratification and identity politics. I think, smokeTNT, you are engaging in a place where either a) reason does not exist, b) the faculties are bizarrely lacking, or c) there is no interest in facts. In dulios' case it is a little of each, with a bit of hatred thrown in. |
