People are buying the bottle, and the convienience. Not the water. @jmjoness So, what you're telling me is that people basically don't care about drinking toxins and impurities, or about taking care of the environment, but heaven forbid if for a second they're inconvenienced? Modern prayer: "OMG inconvenienced me not, today. Amen." Yes. I am. I'm not saying that it's right, I'm just saying that is the way things are. People ignore things they don't want to hear. It's the same thing with Walmart, people know the goods are made in China, which for all practical purposes forces a large majority of it's people into work without pay, but they continue to purchase goods from the store. Why? The prices are convenient. I drink bottled water at work. It's easier than running to the water fountain every second especially when it's summertime. However other people buy it because they think it's somehow more pure or that it tastes better. Penn & Teller have a great clip on bottled water consumers you should check out if you get a chance. |
