massam82 says: ...amen... God was looking down, going, "OK folks, communicate with each other with the common sense I gave you! Quit waiting for me to do everything!" Watching in horror as this man exorcised his free will option. Reviewing lives as they came to him. Determining who still has functions left to perform on this plane. Greeting newest arrivals. Setting up tests of faith for the rest of us. Watching for indifference. Weeping for the survivors and their families. All at the same time. Amen massam82 Very insightful, Skwirlinator. The Bible warns about the "mystery of evil," all too apparent in occurrences such as Va. Tech and the Twin Towers. May be Jung might give us some clues. "We need more psychology, we need more understanding, of human nature, because the only real danger that exist is the man himself, he is the real danger.....psyche should be studied, because we are the origin of all coming evil." Who was evil? The shooter or those that drove him to lose control? My comments are relevant to this clip. The silence in front of evil is also evil. If you follow my above clip, the guy was a loner and there were signs all around him that those who were near to him could have done something earlier to get involved and prevent. No body did anything. It shows how exclusive the society we have become. People may not like me linking this to conservative ideology but at its core, the conservative ideology is inherently exclusive. Americans live in their own individual islands where people are not connected to each other. All I'm saying is that world is a shrinking place due to knowledge and technology, it is time we start to learn how to connect with each other so there may not be any loner in the society. Bullshit. Blame the shooter that shot all the people. Don't blame anyone else. Period. Don't blame people for not responding to his cries for help. Don't blame God for not intervening. Don't blame Satan. Don't blame society. Don't blame the gun. Don't blame video games. Don't blame music. We're all responsible for our own actions. And it was the shooter's actions that killed those people. dont blame god. I was just covering all possible angles Lordthor - wasn't aimed at you. Absolutely right, Cielerella. The gun was purchased new about a month ago; there were warning signs for a while. But ultimately, he made a decision. Blame the shooter that shot all the people.I agree with this one. Ultimately we are responsible for our own actions, I just wanted to see what other people might say. Eventually someone is going to blame everyone on your list and more. I have already seen a clip(No name mentioning) that blames Bush and God skwirl, do you believe that we're responsible ourselves for coming into this world? What, Cheney's name wasn't invoked as well? Whoever made the clip is slacking off. |
