The truth has been shouted into your befuddled brain but there is none so blind as those who would not see, seems to fill the bill. Who 'tested' nuclear weapons on Japan? Who illegally invaded Iraq? ... "Fair". Davboz, I have never seen the Right gang up on anyone. It is always the Left. The reason is that it takes the irrational rantings of many Leftists on a Clipmark thread to build a mutually-assured confidence in themselves. It only takes one clear-minded right-thinking clipper to set a mass of them in a frenzy against one Conservative. The Conservative then quickly proceeds to make fools of them. Jatfla, There has been some movement on this issue which leads me to believe the US is going to strike. I have to say that I think it is not a smart move on the part of the Bush Administration, but I think it is coming. I'm not real keen on the idea either, but when some European countries come out with the language they have over the last 6-8 wks., I have to believe that they know a lot more than we're hearing and is being reported. Especially in light of the Israeli strike into Syria. I don't think it's any accident that Iran is now saying that they are willing to work against Iranian movements into Iraq. Could be just buying time OR could be some *diplomatic* persuasion going on. That's a good take, Jatfla. I think the urgency is two things: 1. The stage of uranium enrichment. If they wait too long to strike, then it could create a nuclear disaster. And, 2. Bush doesn't want to leave this for the next president. I hope if action is taken, it is just a limited air-strike on nuclear facilities. Iran is not in economic shape to retaliate into Iraq, however, if they did it would be a nightmare scenario and the economic ramifications in the US extremely severe. Anyway, It appears I'm not telling you anything that you do not already know. A true fact. 72% of Israelis think there are circumstances when it would be justifiable to use nuclear weapons. 75% of Israelis would like their government to admit publicly that Israel possesses a nuclear capability. Then Iranians better take matters in their own hands and end this mullah madness. Otherwise it is obvious the eventually, Iran and it's people will be obliterated in a nuclear slag heap. I think to avoid this we must attack Iran and destroy this capability, and decapitate their leadership.
