Rioting Drone says:

seven of nine approved across the US (no Borg jokes please). Plus Westinghouse/Shaw corporations have been given the thumbs up to build these same reactors in China.

It is what is called a generation III+ reactor, and its stats are amazing.

Five percent enriched uranium oxide (far less than what is concidered weapons grade: 98%+) which is an amazing improvement to previous plants

The coolant pumps are proven designs that are used in warships for cripes sake (and they are huge and impressive).
