Do people think this is new? Do they have no historical perspective? Do they pine for the "good old days" of William Randolph ("You provide the photos, I'll provide the war." Hearst? Is selling newspapers, or TV programs a new phenomenon? Or did they just notice?
We should lament less the "conflicts" and more the lack of investigation and analysis.
