There is nothing more that the 'regular' democrat wants than for us to lose in Iraq; nothing! We can't go back. They can't go back; but they want to pretend that it's all about the supposed mistakes of the Bush Administration. There's no point in rehashing history. I happen to believe, based on the info of the day, that the President was right. But! how do you deal with the Iraq of today? That is what MUST be dealt with in an *adult* way. Of course not, it takes lawyers that write CYA memos on torture and domestic spying. It takes a compliant and complicit Congress that refuses to investigate crimes and misdemeanors. It takes a Juridical Branch front loaded with ideologues waiting to do their masters biding. And it takes people who are willing to vote them in office time and time again even as they are getting screwed in the...ahem...butt!

So everybody should get on board with the White House to make that possible?

If anything, standing up to bad policies, shameful/illegal behavior is the way to regain respect. Or McCain can win the election and destroy what is left.

These people will not defeat anyone, Bush and the Neocons have done that all by themselves. Remind me again who attacked the use one 11 September and where is he/they now?
