very interesting! Thanks for posting this! At least it floats. How much ice would they need to float the freezer. What if it hit an iceberg? While that picture looked good 90% of the ice would have been underwater.Maybe they thought that was a good idea before commercial air travel made the U S and Europe so close. I would have liked to hear the story if they actually tried it. I suppose it's easy to laugh at the thinking in the '30's if we forget that a lot of what we learned today, we had to learn the hard way. Often more than once. |
