Unlike Saddam, Bush represents the Country: If Bush is guilty then every single American citizen is too! Unlike Saddam? I thought he represented a country too, until someone kicked him out for false and misguided reasons. History is always the judge for any powerful civilization and its people, but those who commit crime on behalf of people should stand trial; however, it doesn't happen always. What we all need to realize is that we no longer live in the old world where communication was scarce, now it is impossible to launch an old fashioned war on any country because we're all watching, proof is the failure of any war launched against any country after the information age. But on May 6, 2002--less than a year before the invasion of Iraq--the Bush administration withdrew the United States' signature on the treaty and began pressuring other countries to approve bilateral agreements requiring them not to surrender U.S. nationals to the ICC. Saddam was not elected by the people for the people There are many other presidents in this world who are not elected by the people for the people. I don't know what your point is, but I agree with you that if Bush is guilty then every other citizen of this country is guilty as well, hence i said that it is only for history to judge and not any court. They can have a court in absentia much later down the road when the whole civilization is no more, but for right now, above is not a reality. After all, McNamara was pleading guilty on his own on some documentary feature, who is there to listen? No one. I don't know what your point isThe point is that America is supposed to be represented by the face of the presiden and I don't feel represented. If the pres does anything he wants it is not representing the United States of America, it is representing Bush and his friends. |
