i actually have run into this problem a few times, where i find myself hesitating before tagging a photo on flickr (or even a clip on clipmarks). am i better off repeating words (e.g listing their uk spelling, us spelling)? how general or specific should tags be? and yes, the formatting issues mentioned in the article add to the complexity of it all. i'm glad clipmarks has introduced the full text search...it has proved much more accurate and useful for me than the previous tags-only search!
