Yes, totally correct.

But...um, 1948?

&..unfortunately, words printed on paper, esp. nearly 100 years old, don't mean nothin' to anybody.

Unfortunately..might makes right. Nearly one and a half million people are being slowly starved to death in the Gaza Strip right now, in front of the eyes of the world.
