This Russian Newspaper (Pravda) article continues...

Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in Ame

liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our R...

( I almost forgot the 2nd Page)

These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume ot...

Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper.

So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks (offensive personal attack removed) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ...

Wow... Somehow I don't think this was what President Obama had in mind when he said he wanted to change the way the international community saw us.

Scary Stuff.

Great clip, I clipped it and several others did as well. Drudge, Big Hollywood, Fox Special Report and Glenn Beck reported on it, too. I especially enjoyed the highlighting of Barney Frank's lifestyle choice.

Wow, people should wake up and smell the bread lines. When the Russians are warning us of the downsides of socialism you know there are major problems on the horizon.

I really do encourage those of you who are serious about understanding current Geopolitical events to read “Dean Acheson – A Life in the Cold War” by Robert Beisner. The parallels are eerily close as to be almost a perfect match. US actions in Europe with the Marshall Plan, arming NATO and re-arming Germany were instrumental to saving the freedom of Europe. Such actions at the time were condemned as Imperialistic and burdening future generations with impossible debt. Does any of this sound vaguely familiar?

The 1842-1865 period saw a battle freeing the slaves, the 1896-1920 period saw Woman’s Suffrage and the 1949-73 period saw the ERA and landmark Civil Rights legislation. Today what is at the forefront of social trends – Gay rights and Gay marriage – sexual equality. The Gay marriage movement has struggled for 20 years with little progress. Social unrest is one of the best and most confusing Long Wave sign posts. As social unrest due to displacement gains traction the economy expands. It has to be this way. It is new technology that creates both social displacement and economic growth. GM is such a classic example as to be hard to miss. We can also draw parallels in mood. The Post WW...

continued: The conditions created by the Kitchin Cycle contraction lead to explosive conditions. The cross over for increasing demand for inventory will short circuit the current unemployment while the expansion of new technologies will start to feed into GDP. Add in the great amount of stimulus the government is committed to with rebuilding infrastructure (a Long Wave trend BTW) and investment is new transportation and energy infrastructure and the recovery will quickly make the current decline a distant memory.
