rustajb says: This is the best news I have heard all day. Let's take down some of the wealthiest, most influential crooks in this country. Crooks who sway elections with their dirty mountains of cash. I can't wait to see who goes down. *grabs popcorn and a seat* ah yes - the privacy-protecting left, so worried about the US government spying on non-Americans who want to kill us - but now its just wonderful that all this private data has been stolen. Just depends on who's ox is being gored, eh? Nope it depends on whether or not the law is being violated, but you would not know anything about that, now would you? actually, pinhead, most privacy advocates are concerned with unlawful, *unwarranted* spying on US citizens within this country. want to wiretap a mob boss? go right ahead. get a warrant first. want to read my e-mail, because you think I've been passing secrets to bin laden? you may have cause to believe so, so get a warrant, listing your reasons for thinking so, and satisfy your curiosity that I've done nothing wrong. you want to just listen to every domestic conversation, just gathering data on everyone, in case you find something you might find useful (say, you told a friend you bought cuban cigars on your last trip to the Caribbean) - *that* I have a problem with. |
