I refer to the rebubbacans as rebubbacans because they gave up what they stood for in the 1950's and 1960's to pursue the Southern Strategy, appealling to poor Southern white voters by expressing states rights. Well they got what they wanted or deserved. The have quashed almost all the moderates in their party and have, more or less, made themselves into a regional party of the South. And to be totally honest I adamantly would support another form of our government, such as a parliamentary democracy, that would allow for the participation of other parties. Then I would stand a much better chance of finding a party that closely aligned to most of my beliefs. That way you could have some libertarian representatives in Congress.
