Hubble Image Collection v3.0

There is a 500mb download that contains 130 of the best images from the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope., each in three resolutions. There is also a list of 'goodies' on the left of the page with a range of Hubble downloads,

I should have checked. I downloaded the 500mb file, which is 644 mb unzipped, but I didn't check the small file. I know now it is for the cover. The large zip file has the high res images as .tif files, but there are also 130 large .jpg, and 130 medium .jpg. One problem will be 500mb usage on some internet plans, but it depends on how much you like Hubble. The pictures still make my head spin.

If you just want to see the pictures, you can unzip the file, and see them with a picture viewer, but if the file is burned onto a CD it includes a browser that organizes the pictures, with links to each of the resolutions that are on the CD. (I was running linux when I downloaded, but I had to go into windows to unpack the browser.)
