BD, the myth you reference said nothing about statistical numbers. It addressed whether long term reconciliation had been achieved. I'm sure you're ready to fly out to your aircraft carrier and declare "Mission Accomplished"....... again.

Here is "the myth" your comment followed for all to read:

4. Myth: The Sunni Arab "Awakening Councils," who are on the US payroll, are reconciling with the Shiite government of PM Nuri al-Maliki even as they take on al-Qaeda remnants.

Fact: In interviews with the Western press, Awakening Council tribesmen often speak of attacking the Shiites after they have polished off al-Qaeda.

And considering that many sources calculate that the so called "al-Qaeda in Iraq" is no more than 10% of the insurgency, this is not saying much. It makes more sense for the Sunni to get rid of these bastards themselves and then run a "clean" insurgency campaign against the U.S. and its allies in country.

Doesn't the title imply that we know who 100% of them are?
