My heroes...actually the majority of hackers are an innocent bunch who do not target personal users, send viruses, or pose any real threats to gov't or businesses, it is the thrill of the challenge that is their motivation and often times they do work with corporations and the gov't to make them aware of security flaws and vulnerabilities. We only hear of the "bad" things hackers have done, no one gives them credit for the good deeds because they are ashamed of their own failures.
