I have noticed this winter here in WV the evening darkness has been later that usual and I don't think I've ever seen that phenomena before .

It's another beautiful day here today (not quite the 17 C we had at the weekend but still extraordinary). I've just returned from a walk along the river Colne and the water birds are definitely behaving in a springlike fashion. Saw crocus, daffodils, catkins etc. all a bit weird for middle of February.
