He surely was one of the funniest men on Earth. Death comes in threes. Steve Martin from the old Rowan and Martin Show died last week. Who's next? I know it's creepy but it's a fact. tanyamm, you meant Dick Martin. Don't scare me like that! Sorry, I stand corrected. I did mean Dick Martin. I hope Steve Martin doesn't make number three though. Oooh, if Steve Martin dies soon, this will really freak me out, Tanya. My money is on George Burns. I like the Carrol Burnette Show Harvey and Tim were awesome Pop for happy family memories Memories of watching tv together then horsing around with our newfound slapstick I agree, Skwirl. The Carol Burnette Show was great. I love how they used to crack each other up on the show. Do you remember the skit where Carol was playing Scarlette O'Hara and she came down the stairs with the curtain rod still in her dress? Good times! Yes I remember TVLand ran continuous Carol Burnette for an entire weekend. It brought all the memories of watching these shows with my parents back. Remember when Tim Conway and Harvey Coreman would begin to crack up in the middle of a skit. It was usually because Conway did some unrehearsed and hilarious act or sound. excuse me... Korman. That was one of the reasons I loved the show, Willhelm. I loved watching them make each other laugh, or try not to laugh. My favorite is the one where Conway is the dentist who keeps hitting himself with the novocaine. Harvey trying desperately to hold it together was the funniest part. |
