I disagree with your assessment of ‘twisted’ and ‘sinister meanings to promote un-American and evil propaganda’. I didn’t hear anything un-American. I didn’t hear any evil propaganda.

We are destroying this planet by extracting its natural resources. Common sense tells you this is true. We do need these resources for our survival and I believe we should take them and use them. But, we need to find alternatives to slow down our destructive extraction processes.

He also talks about fighting against injustice. What is so evil about that?

You have to believe the planet is in crisis in order to understand what he, and many other people, are saying.

Obviously, if you don’t believe the planet is in crisis then you will disagree that something needs to be done.

It is also just as obvious that if you go into this video with a closed mind convinced that he is evil himself you will come up with the assessments you did.

Okay, let me clarify (correct if you will) some of my words. I also do not believe the planet is in crisis, but we are heading there. The planet, as does nature in general, has the incredible ability to heal itself, but if we continue extracting natural resources at our current rate and polluting the atmosphere, water and land without cleaning up after ourselves, then we are going to place what I consider to be an overpowering stress that the planet may not be able to overcome.

I agree with you, his ideas concerning the environment are too far to the left. As a self-avowed Communist he has no business in such a high ranking, albeit easily muffled, position in a Democratic administration. Bu...

I agree with you, his ideas concerning the environment are too far to the left. As a self-avowed Communist he has no business in such a high ranking, albeit easily muffled, position in a Democratic administration. But I’m not overly worried because President’s have ignored warnings and predictions from environmental heads many times. If he tries to push ideas that are too far out of line, I’m pretty sure he will not be allowed to put them into play and will therefore become just another figurehead. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying he should stay, in fact he should be replaced with someone who will actually propose meaningful ideas that have a better chance of doing something positive.

Let’s discuss what you fear about his idea of injustice. I read that he has the idea that the job loss from the abandonment of coal mining will be offset by the number of jobs created by the developing solar industry. I think this is total BS. It simply will not add up. He also is for having all of these jobs go to disadvantaged people, I believe to be his code phrase for ‘people of color’. If this is what he is about then I am against him right now because by making this statement he is excluding white Americans. If he is going to exclude any Americans the chance to have jobs then yes his ideas are wrong and dangerous.
