They definitely make me want to find some sand to throw under a microscope amazing how different things look under a microscope, great clip. The history of the ocean is hidden in the sands. The waves being one of the Earth's biggest grinders. Time can allow them to wear down the highest mountains, the strongest rock, the most beautiful shells, into a melange of colour. Then once again the sand over time becomes rock, which will rise to become mountains. Who could imagine sand is beautiful. I remember eating sand as a kid, can’t say that I liked that much. It was all grainy and made that horrible crunching noise.
