Bibles don't always deflect the bullets of maniacs who mow down pastors in the middle of their sermons and the Muslims across the street in the mosque are yelling "kill the infidels!" while sharpening their machetes for an upcoming beheading..

Atheists aren't sure what side of the street they want to be on until they test their hypothesis, call everyone stupid, brag about the size of their brain, and congratulate themselves for being so tolerant.
