PrioNet Canada is a Network of Centres of Excellence for research on Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy, commonly known as mad cow disease, and other Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies or prion diseases.

The PrioNet Canada web site was built to serve as a portal for members and non-members alike, to access the latest findings in prion science and to discover the wealth of possibilities provided by the network concept.
