In oktober van dit jaar zit het erop voor haar en dat is maar goed ook. Deze Europese bewindsvrouw ontwikkelt zich namelijk in rap tempo tot een compromisloze machtswellusteling <EM>pur sang</EM>. Kort geleden zadelde ze de succesvolle Amerikaanse chipfabrikant Intel nog op met een <A target="_blank" href="http://www.telegraaf.nl/dft/nieuws_dft/3910946/__Kroes_legt_Intel_recordboete_van_ruim_1_miljard_op__.html">boete</A> van ruim 1 miljard euro. Dat geschiedde op nogal dubieuze gronden. En nou moet de excelle-rende softwareproducent Microsoft er weer aan geloven. Aan dat bedrijf heeft Kroes de afgelopen jaren in totaal al 1,7 miljard euro aan boetes opgelegd, maar dat is voor haar kennelijk <A target="_blank" href="http://www.telegraaf.nl/dft/nieuws_dft/4152809/__Brussel_boos_over_Windows_7__.html?p=11,1">nog niet genoeg</A>.</p> <UL class="links">
