Certainly he has move from the government's position that it's not torture at all. He at all times assumes that it is.

His 'defence' is the value there supposedly was in using the torture in the intelligence gained and the lives saved. Bull. The onus is on him to produce the evidence and not expect more blind baseless trust in a discredited organization. They've destroyed the evidence. You don't destroy y...

I would have to agree on your points, the American Intelligence groups are always being caught with their pants down.
Now they are trying to be hard ass and that just shows the lack of know how.
Maybe Hollywood can win this war for them as well.
After all they won WW1, WW2 and Vietnam for them.
Not to mention Rambo and his war on Burma.
