Thanks to an application released by CourseSmart, e-textbooks can now be viewed not only in PDA’s but in the Apple device as well. A supplier of electronic textbooks in Northern California released free software that enables iPod Touch or Iphone users view their required textbooks in digitized forms. CourseSmart executive vice president Frank Lyman says that they see significant demand from student customers the ability for them to get required textbook content in an electronic form via iPhone or iPod Touch.
