How come MY cats won't talk?? Lazy buggers.

I had a cat that I rescued from a median strip in Boston years ago, it was soooo small, I thought it was a rat when I first saw her! I had to teach it everything, even smuggled her into work with me for the first month or so (luckily I had a private office). This was the best cat ever! She never "talked" much, except, very clearly, would go by a door and say "lemmeowt", or let me out in her cat-speak. It was so amazing, people would hear it and could not believe their ears. She passed away some years ago, and I still miss her! I think it may be evolutionary, all of these talking cats and dogs I see in videos, I don't know, just my theory.

Aww, I'm so envious! All my cat Aisha can say is nooooo! I'll ask, "Are you a Mamma's girl?" and she'll answer noooooo! That's it. Lazy cat.
