My thoughts exactly! Don't get me wrong, I love mac's too... It's that so many people think they are superior for all the wrong reasons. It's true that they don't get virus's, but it IS because people don't write viruses targeting mac's because the user base simply isn't large enough compared to the pc user base. There are a lot of great parody video's and such out there that are actually true like this comic strip (though the suffering part i'm not so sure about).

Yep, I'm a suffering Mac user. I suffer from having more time from getting my work done. Even though I know my way around PC's, its really the result of having to or else finding some other geek to constantly fix it. When I got my wife to switch from her PC to a Mac, she became an instant Microsoft basher. She realized that Apple knows about usability and presenting an operating system that is solid as a tank. We now both suffer from having more fun time together . The virus thing is not the reason we love Macs.

Not saying that I don't think mac is solid compared to a pc, but I've experienced more than enough crashes and hangs and other problems on my mac to know that nobody is perfect. My biggest complaint is with bluetooth. It constantly loses my bluetooth mouse and the only way to get it back is to power off and back on.

As a mac user you may sometimes face problems, (I didn't in the 10 years of usage though...) as a PC user it's the question if they come up every day or not. But pc's are made for mass consumption, that's why I wish apple never gets that big...
