Nice one. I can recommend Thinkfree for word, powerpoint and spreadsheet (although a lot of it is based on java applets which can be slow loading).

Open Office (sun microsystems) is always worth a try as well.

Oh for a day when the world is open source

Thanks a million for doing this, Alan. I've been using Google docs since they were first offered. They certainly work well for me. I've created something like 350 different "docs" so far.

Web-based tools like this offer us the ability to change how and where we work.
