masbury says: John Holdren, professor of environmental policy at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He is the director of the Woods Hole Research Center and just completed a term as board chair of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. And who is to say we have anythin got do with it. SOunds like naturally occurring climate change to me. "Global weirding" has a ring to it. I love these "naturally occurring warming" types. Even if it were a natural thing, what difference would it make? It's like saying, "Well, looks like we're extinct. Nothing we can do about it but roll over and die..." That was weird. Anyway.. sillysam, who is to say we don't have anything to do with it? Or, as long as there is one holdout scientist who says he or she isn't absolutely certain that 100% of climate change is caused by human action, we'll hear something equal to "the fact that we're pouring millions of tons of pollutants into our water and air mustn't be allowed to hinder business growth." |
