There is no doubt that happiness can not be found through the purchase of material goods...that said, we all waste way too much of our lives trying to acquire them. Very true. Sad part is all the brain-washing going on to embed into our skulls the notion we can (and we must) buy our happiness, even on credit. Better if on credit, I'd say. I think happiness is not a state, neither an end. It's just a path. Don't put much overweight into the backpack. Just walk and enjoy the view. |
